ELECTION INFORMATION FOR MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON MARCH 9, 2010

The City of Tarpon Springs will hold a General/Referendum Election, on Tuesday, March 9, 2010.  The purpose of this election is to elect a Mayor, one Commissioner for Seat Three, and one Commissioner for Seat Four.

Voter Registration – Deadline to register to vote is Wednesday, February 8, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. for the City’s General/Referendum Election.  If you have any questions regarding voter registration, please contact the Pinellas Supervisor of Elections at : (727) 464-3551, or fax: (727) 464-4158.

Absentee Ballots – Absentee Ballots may be requested by calling the Supervisor of Elections Office at (727) 464-6788. 

Election results/tabulation of votes
Canvassing and tabulation of votes will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at the:

Results will be posted as received in the City Clerk’s Office on Election Night – Tarpon Springs City Hall.

IMPORTANT …In order to be able to vote, a voter will need a picture identification and signature identification at the polling place, such as a Florida driver’s license, a Florida identification card issued under F.S. 322.051, or another form of picture identification approved by the Department of State.
