Development Services
The Development Services Department includes the Building, Engineering
and Planning and Zoning divisions as well as project administration.
Development Services is a full service department conducting planning,
zoning, development review, engineering, permitting and inspections
services, project administration and management. Our shared purpose is
to guide the growth, development and redevelopment of the City by
encouraging the most appropriate use of land in accordance with and
through enforcement of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, land development,
zoning and building codes to ensure the safety, health and welfare of
the citizens and property owners of Tarpon Springs.
We are committed to providing prompt, accurate, consistent and fair
service in a friendly manner while willingly considering suggestions by
others.
