Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue Programs:

Smoke Detectors - Smoke detectors are available for free of charge to any local resident and can be installed by the fire department.   9-11 Memorial - The memorial was dedicated March 13, 2013, the replica of the World Trade Center Towers is constructed around a piece of steel beam from the wreckage, the memorial was constructed by retired firefighter, Billy Storms. Florida Safe Pools - is a water safety campaign by the Florida Suncoast Kids Coalition and All Children’s Hospital. Bike Medical Program - Established in 2006, the program is an innovation group of paramedics and EMPs that travel on bicycles. The program is utilized during holidays and festivals in the city. North Pinellas Explorer Post 969 - Established on September 9, 1998, the program offers young men and women experience first-hand what it would be like to choose a career as a firefighter. Holiday Food Basket -An annual food drive for families in the city that need extra help during the holidays. The program provides about 125 food baskets annually, food donation boxes are placed in local businesses. Santa Tours - Each year, the fire rescue department assists Santa with a tour of Tarpon Springs’ Neighborhoods.
