Position:   HUMAN RESOURCES/RISK MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR (REVISED)  Department:    HUMAN RESOURCES   Salary Range:      $47,112 - $75,900 D.O.Q.  Closing Date:    OPEN UNTIL FILLED Description/Requirements:  Under limited supervision, analyzes, develops and implements processes involved with human resources and risk management  functions. Position involves a broad range of responsibility and requires the ability to work independently with considerable  latitude for initiative and judgement. Serves as technical resource in the area of human resources and risk management.  Performs human resources duties as assigned by the Director. Coordinates the Property & Casualty insurance program as well as  the Workers’ Compensation process.  Assists the Director with administration and supervision of the department. Candidates will  possess a Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in human resources, risk management, finance, insurance, business  administration or a directly related field. Additional certification in management is preferred. At least 4 years of recent  relevant technical responsibility in human resources, P&C insurance, and Workers’ Compensation including claims experience, is  highly desirable. 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role is preferred, as well as experience in a municipal government  setting. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s license.   Position:   BUDGET/FINANCIAL ANALYST Department:      FINANCE Salary Range: $41,308 - $66,549 DOQ Closing Date:    August 25, 2017 5PM Description/Requirements: Performs various accounting/budgeting functions in the area of the analysis, implementation and evaluation of  budgetary/financial systems. Candidates for this position must possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, as  well as a minimum of three to five years governmental accounting experience.  Major duties include City budget development,  assisting with preparation of annual financial report and capital projects accounting. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida  Driver’s License.  Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years’ experience in budget review, evaluation or  other work in the development and creation of a government budget. Position: FLEET TECHNICIAN Department: FLEET MAINTENANCE Hourly Rate:  $18.01 - $29.01 D.O.Q. Closing Date: OPEN UNTIL FILLED Description/Requirements: Under general supervision, performs skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of gasoline and diesel powered  automotive and utility vehicles, emergency vehicles, and related equipment. Assists with the administrative duties relating to  the operations of Fleet Maintenance. Duties include repairing, servicing and maintaining vehicles, responding to road calls and  assisting in the maintenance of the department’s inventory and record keeping systems. Qualified candidates must possess a  High School diploma/GED; vocational/specialized training in automotive repairs or related area preferred. Two or more years’  experience in automotive/equipment repairs and maintenance preferred or five or more years’ experience in small engine  repair including chain saws, weed eaters, lawn equipment and tractor repair. Reviews interim  reports, performs reconciliations, prepares and processes month-end reports, journal entries, financial statement analysis and  review, year-end reports analysis and review, work with auditors. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or  a related field. CGFO or CPA certification is preferred. Closing Date: OPEN UNTIL FILLED Description/Requirements: This is a professional planner supervising and/or carrying out complex planning projects or studies and community development  strategies, projects or programs.  Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, presenting and maintaining planning  programs. A high degree of technical knowledge is required and work is performed with considerable independence and  initiative. Primary focus is the day to day management of the development review process, coordinating capital projects to  ensure that the minimum levels of service set out in the Capital Improvements Element of the Comprehensive Plan are  achieved/maintained. This position also serves as the coordinating planner for the Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) and  Multi-Modal Transportation District (MMTD). Staff support to various boards required, including some evening meetings.    Qualifications: Minimum—Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in urban planning or a related field and 5 years of  professional experience in urban planning, project management experience and management related experience.
