City of Tarpon Springs Reclaimed Water User Agreement Water, Sewer and Reclaimed Water Rate Information Public Notice - Reclaimed Water Usage Restrictions in Effect Issued 7/18/2018 Please be advised that due to the recent rainfall, the City of Tarpon Springs is easing restrictions to Phase II reclaimed water usage restrictions effective immediately. This means that we continue to request customers to limit watering with reclaimed to 2 days per week and the City anticipates limited interruptions in service provided regular rainfall continues. PHASE II:  Voluntarily reducing reclaimed water usage to 2 days per week outside of the hours of 10 am to 4 pm to maximize the effectiveness of irrigation and mandatory interruptions of service as needed during the hours of 10 am to 4 pm to minimize waste from evaporation and assist in maintaining supply The restriction phases are described below. The conservation of our reclaimed water will help ensure that reclaimed water service remains available as much as possible during these conditions of lack of rainfall and increased irrigation demand. Such conditions  are expected to remain in effect for approximately the next 3-4 weeks until our normal rainy season begins. PHASE I:  Voluntarily reducing reclaimed water usage to 2 days per week outside of the hours of 10 am to 4 pm to maximize the effectiveness of irrigation PHASE II:  Voluntarily reducing reclaimed water usage to 2 days per week outside of the hours of 10 am to 4 pm to maximize the effectiveness of irrigation AND Mandatory interruptions of service as needed during the hours of 10 am to 4 pm to minimize waste from evaporation and assist in maintaining supply PHASE III:  Mandatory  limited  watering  days  citywide  with  interruptions  in  service  as required to restore supply. Initially, reclaimed water service will be available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday to allow storage tanks to be filled. If drought conditions persist, and reclaimed water supply is not sufficient, additional off days will be required.
